Women Do Better/BLOG

Image result for know your worth

I speak and listen to a lot of women tell their stories of life lessons. I know for me, at one time or another I was naive when it came to other people. I grew up in a two parent home and we all trusted each other. We never stabbed each other in the back, or even fought for it was not allowed. But when I moved out on my own at 22, I had to face a lot of things I never saw growing up.  Things I wasn’t taught. Things I didn’t see among my friends. Which made me naive to a lot of things that were going on with others in the world. It cost me a lot. Had many cries and loss through the years,  but I’m convinced it has made me stronger for what’s ahead.

With so much social media these days, I don’t understand why WOMEN allow themselves to be mistreated, abused and be flat out gullible. Its so easy to find your own situation in a video, in a FB conversation, even on the job talking to others. Why is it that women wont do better? Why is it so hard to get out of a relationship that is toxic? Why women don’t love themselves enough to want more? Do women put themselves in a situation that causes her to stay because she won’t make it without his financial support? Do women like or enjoy drama? I say drama because in order to deal with physical or mental abuse there has to be something in them that has the tolerance for it.

My prayer is that if you are reading this and this is your situation that you get out and get help. Its all about PEACE. Get somewhere and learn yourself. Find out what you like to do and do it. Love yourself. Stop being WEAK! Find your strength. Let your Yes mean YES, and your No mean NO. Tell yourself you will no long deal with anything that is not of God. Speak with boldness. Walk with your head held high. Give eye contact. Speak clearly and know what you’re talking about. Its Okay to laugh and smile, but take serious conversations SERIOUS.

I can go on and on, but I promise to write more on these types of subjects.

Be Blessed

@KIMVFIELDS KENYA NEEDS YOU/BLOG

Hello Kim,

After watching RHOA last night and me needing a bottle of high blood pressure pills from watching Kenya . (( Ooo Jesus)) I finally came to the conclusion as to why you are on the show.

Everyone can see that you’re a praying woman. Not only one who reads her bible, but one who practice it. I watch you closely. Your facial expressions, the words you use, the calm tone of voice, the “gotta go” exits, and ahhh your beautiful Spirit. You are a woman who loves the Lord. A woman who practices self control. A woman who can walk in and set the atmosphere at any meet, and one who truly will NOT conform to the ways of this world. I LOVE YOU GURL!!!!

I myself have a very deep personal relationship with the Lord. He speaks to me so clearly. A few weeks ago as I was picking up my keys off the counter to leave my apartment. I heard him loud and clear when he said, “Cree take those quarters,” (( they were next to my keys)) because you’re going to need them. I answered him right away saying.. Oh no, I’m okay, I have my debit card. Just then I realized that it was him, and I picked them up. I took my mom to her doctors appointment, came out.. AND MY TIRE WAS ON A FLAT! The gas station was right across the street. That’s the kind of relationship I have. So, I shared all of that to say…….

After seeing last nights episode.  And allowing Kenya to give me the headache of my life. I asked God why is Kim Fields on this show Lord? I know you. I know you have a reason as to why she’s here. I know your Character. I know you Lord. This gurl does not even fit in with these women style of life. I told him ” I know you’re up to something?” I know you Lord!

Its to get you out of your comfort zone, and to be the ONE WHO HELP KENYA!

God sent you to help Kenya. You may not know it, or maybe this is conformation. The way you handled yourself when she pulled your seat back, ONLY GOD COULD ALLOW YOU TO GO THROUGH THAT ON TV WHILE THE WHOLE WORLD WATCH AND YOU NOT CHOCK HER OUT WITH YOUR BARE HANDS!!!! Only God! You showed the WORLD.. how to reframe from ANGER! You showed us, not only do you read your bible, but you practice it. Then you went home to a loving HUSBAND who not only allowed you to VENT.. using all  the colorful words you wanted…. THEN HE bought YOU WAY BACK DOWN .. UM UM UM UM FATHER GOD IN THE NAME OF JESUSSSSSSSSSS YESSS!!!! That’s what Im talking about!

Kenya needs you. She’s been hurt. Deeply hurt by her mom. Hurt people hurt people. God is allowing you to see how truly strong you are. Be there for her when she comes.
Open your arms out to her. Be the loving person you are to your children … to her. She needs your strength. She’s not mad or angry with you, its her situation. Of course I know you know that. Deep down she admires you. Loving mom, loving wife, family, loves the Lord, faithful. Show her love when she comes. Cry with her, love her, take her under your wings. And one thing is for sure, she will NEVER EVER EVER EVER had to worry about you repeating anything that she’s shared with you. If you decide to come back for a Season 2, know that you are on assignment…. because I know in order for you to agree, you’ve already checked in with DADDY!

LOVE YA GURL

Woman Found Stabbed To Death After Posting Facebook Warning, Ex-Boyfriend Arrested

Michelle Rowling; Montrell Cooper

Less than one week after Michelle Rowling, 25, of East Saint Louis, posted a cryptic Facebook status alluding to her death, she was found fatally stabbed in her apartment and her newly paroled ex-boyfriend, Montrell Cooper, 25,  has been arrested in connection with the crime, reports The Belleville News Democrat.

“So, if anything happens to me tonight just let my kids know I loved them dearly and tell my momma I love her,”  Rowling posted on Nov. 25 at 9:49 p.m.

On Dec. 1, East Saint Louis police responded to a disturbance call at approximately 9:00 p.m. and discovered the young mother of two stabbed several times on the floor of her apartment, reports KSDK.com.

She was rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

In response to concerned friends commenting on her Facebook status, Rowling would share no details other than she had received horrible news. That news was that Cooper had been released from jail where he had been serving time since assaulting Rowling in August, said St. Clair County State’s AttorneyBrendan Kelly.

“From what I understand from others in jail with him that was his word, he was going to kill her,” said Rowling’s grandmother Diane Simmons.

The August incident was not Cooper’s first time assaulting Rowling.

In 2012, he served a year in jail for stabbing her in the neck; upon his release, he assaulted her again.

Rowling testified on Cooper’s behalf in the 2012 incident, so he received probation. In a court appearance on Monday, Cooper was released again after Rowling allegedly refused to testify against him.

“We often move forward with charges even when victims are not cooperative, hoping that if they see us standing up for them, they will stand up for themselves,” said Kelly, who had pushed for prison time in both incidents. ”The victim in this case actually testified in favor of the defendant.”

Cooper, who had been on the run in a Black SUV that was later found abandoned, turned himself in to East Saint Louis police Tuesday night and is being held on $200,000 bond.

He has not been charged and is being held on a probation violation.

“We want to question him about the stabbing death of Michelle Rowling,” East St. Louis Police ChiefMichael Floore said.

A candlelight vigil was held on Sunday night for Rowling.

“I don’t know which way to turn,” said her mother Cathy McGloson.

Rowling’s cousin, Danielle Lane, said that Cooper was always “quiet” around their family.  When she spoke to Rowling on Thanksgiving Day she said that she was trying to leave him for good.

“She was happy, but she looked worried,” Lane said. “She told me about the domestic abuse with him. She wanted to be with him, but they weren’t getting along, so she was trying to leave him,” Lane said.

“I didn’t see her for about three weeks. When I saw her, I told her she needed to get out of that relationship because that wasn’t love. I tried to get her to meet up with me and do some things, but she wouldn’t,” Lane said.

“We need to put a stop to women being abused. No matter what your family or friends say or think, speak out. There is always help out there,” Lane said.

Rowling and Cooper have a 5-year-old daughter together, reports CBS News.

According to a recent report by the The Violence Policy Center (VPC) in Washington, D.C. Black women are about three times more likely to die at the hands of a current or ex-boyfriend than members of other races.

  • In 2011, 492 black females were murdered by males at a rate of 2.61 per 100,000, compared to a rate of 0.99 per 100,000 for white females.
  •  Where the relationship could be determined, 94 percent of black females killed by males knew their killers. Nearly 15 times as many black females were murdered by a male they knew than were killed by male strangers.
  • Of the black victims who knew their offenders, 52 percent were wives, common-law wives, ex-wives, or girlfriends of the offenders. Ninety-three percent of the homicides were intra-racial.

Home Invasions…..teens not making it out ALIVE …From the desk of Cree

kid to save

Hey,

This will be my rambling blog.

Went to Red Lobster with my Sisters and God Sisters last Friday, then to a bar for Karaoke. I was feeling good that night never knew I was about to catch a cold. I knew as soon as the weather broke this was going to happen. I knew something was wrong because I kept on having sleeping spells. I’ll get real sleepy and have these sudden “gotta lay down NOW” episodes and will have them all day. That next day… I was sick. OH well its not that bad, because I kept an eye on it. When I get like this.. I hate talking, and being around people. I have to get myself together. I think I become mean, and outspoken…. * not good*  Anyway, this guy sung to me.. omg.. I was so embarrassed. I’m shy, and my sisters took photos of me  while they enjoyed the moment.. I wanted to disappear and be home. LOL I can’t take attention. Its enough my personality is bubbly, but that’s controlled ATTENTION… he caught me totally off guard. He sung the whole song to me, spot light was on and everything, after wards he brought us all a beer. So sweet. 🙂

There are a lot of home invasions going on here in Detroit. People are tired of this, they have license to carry a concealed weapon, not only that BUT THEY ARE POPPIN THESE INTRUDERS left and right. These young men are dying in these peoples home. There was a time when break ins were happening, and the intruders were doing the killing or leaving them for dead. More people are on the look out, and when they hear something strange, they’re not waiting to see what’s going on. They’re pulling the trigger on these young goons. I don’t blame them. I hate that these kids don’t know consequences. Some were never taught, and they’re dying right in their victims homes. These parents are going to LEARN. Quit taking up for your bad kids.

Here’s the story. The part that killed me was when the boy’s God mother spoke…

Stop being so quick to say ” Cant nobody Judge Me”… people are only trying to help you. Trust me LaCrease won’t be knocking on your door setting appointments for me to talk you out of stupid mess. But I will see you in passing and run some sense in your head….. after that… there is nothing I can do to save you. I’ve had this same talk with plenty of people, and they always come back and say…. “I should have listened to you”.

I hope this serve as a lesson to these young teens…. “Aint NOBODY playing no more”.

Be Blessed
