*pearls of wisdom*

Hey Everybody!!!

First I want to say Thank you Jesus for waking me up another day. This weekend has truly been a good one. You know Lord whats so amazing? Everything that happened good or bad, has to run by you first. Then it happens. So no matter how good our bad it is, you know about it first. And by knowing that, it softens the blow. We can make it through it. And I Thank you!!

I love y\’all.

That\’s what me and my 2 Sisters say to each other when we are about to hang up the phone. Me and my Sisters are sooo funny. We have people cracking up. When we are on the phone or in person, somewhere in the conversation we get on a subject that causes 2 Sisters to double team the other. They usually gang up on me , because they know they can\’t get with me alone, so they have to double team me. LOL Ill pull out my Lawyer tactics and rip dey butts apart. ROFL

You know I hate to post negative stuff. I cant stand people who gossip. If you have a story to tell, tell it, don\’t gossip about it, and don\’t stretch your opinion!!! No matter how many days I\’m off work, when I get there something has always jumped off. If it aint got nothing to do with Cree dog, don\’t tell me jack!!! I don\’t care. People love to see what Cree has to say about everythang, and as soon as my face go blank, they have this look as if to say………….DANG I SHOULDNA TOLD HER.

And I\’m going to say this too. Just to get it off my chest and on to paper. I know I can be funny, and silly, and a person you can talk too. But when it comes to business. I\’M A DIFFERENT PERSON. I can be aggressive, I ask a lot of questions, maybe I don\’t smile, and maybe my voice speaks with authority. Maybe I *come across* unconcerned about your answers or reasons, but you wont see or find the same Cree that laughs and jokes when I\’m taking care of business. Maybe I do grill. I don\’t curse people out, I don\’t disrespect people, I just ask questions I need to ask. And if you can\’t help me, then I need to speak to someone who can . I\’m not mad at no one, I\’m not upset. I just need this taken care of, and that\’s the bottom line.

I\’m posting this for a reason. Ladies. Men, take care of your business. If you need assistance open your mouth , speak to people who can make it happen. Don\’t just settle for the first answer. People love to tell you stuff to put you off. If you stand for the okie doke, then thats what you\’ll get. If you call a store to ask them what time they are closing on a Holiday and they say * I dunno* I\’m not sure. don\’t just say………..well aiiiiiiiiight then!! Tell them that you will hold on, and that you need to speak to someone who knows the correct time. Don\’t be mean, don\’t be rude. Just ask the question find out what you need to know.

I have a question? How do you walk past someone and the word * Hello* don\’t just drop out of your mouth? Is that something you have to think about? I\’m just sayin. When you walk in front of someone, how the word excuse me don\’t just fall out of your mouth? . So what you have to say it 17 times a day, it shouldn\’t be rehearsed. Teach your kids those basic MANNERS. Its only polite.

Know that we train people how to treat us. If you never seen me sit on the arm of my couch or chair, don\’t do it. You wont see me doing it, why the hells you doing it? If you don\’t know how to work a $800.00 TV, PLEASE PASS ME MY REMOTE CONTROL!!! Maam/ SIR…. THANK YOU. If you\’re riding in someone Else\’s car or sitting up IN *dey* house, and they don\’t smoke. Don\’t ask them is it aiight to smoke. WTH.

I can\’t stand all about me people!!!! Its too many people in this world to make it all about YOU! Cause Imma say this, when you\’re in my presence, its all about ALL OF US, not just one person. One of my Sister Pearls who is going to ATL with us next weekend. She made a mistake and canceled the flight which leaves out of Georgia at 12 something pm, and kept the one that leaves out at 6:40 am. She said no no, Imma just take the Marta to the Airport, you guys can sleep, it was my fault. I SAID NO YOU AINT. WE HAVE A TRUCK, YOU MADE A MISTAKE, WE ALL MADE IT WITH YOU. WHO EVER IS UP AND WANT TO RIDE CAN GO WITH ME, BUT WE WILL TAKE YOU. But you are not riding ANYTHING alone in a unknown city. Its not about me me me. Its about us!!!

I have a co worker who I love dearly, but anything flies out of her mouth. She\’s a cute young gurl, but THAT MOUTH IS OFF THE CHAIN, and it just corrupts anything good. I said to her: When you\’re talking to someone, and you\’re being outspoken and in * hurting people\’s feelings* mode. DO SOMETHING IN YOUR MIND INTERRUPT YOUR REGULARY SCHEDULED CONVERSATION and said GURL YOU TALKING TOO MUCH? She laughed and said yeah……but I just keep going sometimes? WOW. I asked her that because when I\’m talking too much the same voice speak to me. We gotta learn to listen to that voice. OUR MOUTHS ARE KILLING US!!!!

This white guy name James that comes into Walmart all the time. So on yesterday he came through my line and since it wasn\’t busy we chatted for a moment. After I rung him up and gave him the receipt. He looked at it and said. dangggggggggg, I thought the scanner charge me extra for this coffee, because I was going to go and stand in that service desk line to get my bounty.

I said James: Now you will stand in that line knowing full well it was a scanner error instead of telling me so that I can correct it on the spot, but you\’ll go and collect 2 funky dollars, turn right around go outside, lose your wallet, call the closes Christian to God you know and ask them to pray for you. I said now what good is that? I said people don\’t realize that when they try to capitalize on someones MISTAKE, they are only setting themselves up for something greater to happen to them later. I said now if someone SEE YOU drop a $20.00 bill, and they pick it up TO KEEP IT FOR THEMSELVES, and then you catch them, you would want to KILL them just because they KNEW IT WAS YOUR MONEY. I said its the same thing. He just stared at me, and said Wow I never looked at it that way Lacrease. He was really amazed. Yep, I said and all that time you spend standing in line to get those funky 2 dollars, someone can be outside stealing your car.

One last thing!!! Watch what you say and do. Do everything our of Excellence. don\’t have do anything. If your name is on it, DO YOUR BEST. Don\’t look at a Budget, don\’t look at your situation, pray about it, tell God how you feel about it and it will happen for you. Stay positive, go for the best. Put your all in it, make it happen. Build Credit with people by your works and not your mouth. Let me post that again. Build credit with people by your works not your mouth!!!!

I like to rent 2008 cars and trucks when I\’m going to a special event. Just yesterday I took back a car I rented for the weekend. So they know me there. I needed a ride to Hertz because they wont let me car stay in the parking lot for the weekend at that location. I end up getting a ride there, and then I told him my story, he was like * What you didn\’t have a ride? Next time call me and I WILL PICK YOU UP*. Think he would say that to anyone? Nope!!! ITS ALL ABOUT HAVING PEOPLE/FAVOR CREDIT. And I\’m not talking about AMEX, VISA, OR MASTERCARD. I\’m talking about honesty, integrity, truthfulness, and trustworthiness. People see that in you, be the best you can be. don\’t be scheming on people, don\’t be HATING, DON\’T BE FAKE, DON\’T BE LYING, AND MAKING FALSE PROMISES. BE UPFRONT AND TRUTHFUL.

I\’m still learning this stuff myself.

My Saturday night with Anita Baker * front row seat*

Hey,

Here are MY reviews for Anita Baker Concert this past Saturday. I wrote it for the Anita Baker fan club who was waiting for me past 2 am that Sunday morning to get home to post my reviews. I love loyal people!!! So here is my repost.

Wow Wow WOw!
Where do I start? Let me tell yall something before I go into the reviews. Can’t nobody touch Anita. Thats one bad chick!!! I had tears coming down my eyes watching her dance, and pranch around the stage, as if it was 1986. Not only is she so beautiful and have the prettiest skin, but when you watch her, for some reason you can’t take your eyes off her. She opened with Mystery, and to make things better SHE TAPED TONIGHTS SHOW FOR A DVD!!! Yep the camera’s were in the house EVERYWHERE!!! She put on the longest Anita Baker show I have ever seen. She talked to the audience as if we could have our way for the rest of of the night………and we did!! I can’t remember the songs in order. But she sung. Sweet Love, Mystery, Fairy Tales, Just because, Same ole, Love, Angel, Give you the best that I’ve got, I apolize, My funny Valentine, you bring me joy, watch your step, I think 2 more, Ill have to find out. And last but not least Body and Soul. Let me say this. Anita disect that song like a scientist in a lab. The way she sung that song, people shouldn’t ever want to listen to it on the CD. She killed it!!!! I had tears in my eyes. She got a standing ovation. People were going crazy after she was done with that song. I don’t even want to hear the original recording any more. LOL

Let me say this too. Anita don’y play and I love and appriecate that about her. She was having problems with her music, and she made it known too. She knew she was taping for this show, and she kept telling the sound people she couldnt hear the piano, all she could hear was the bass. She made them move faster than a ball roller down the street. LOL She gave a shout out to her Target, Kroger,CVS, her neighbors, her school friends, out radio personality Charles Pugh, and Diana Lewis. When she spotted Diana, who was sitting in about the 8th row up, she signaled her people to GO AND GET HER AND SEAT HER IN A BETTER SEAT. I LOVED HER FOR THAT!!! OMG I LOVE THAT. Diana Lewis * black woman* has been a anchor for Channel 7 News for a long time, and I just admired Anita more to honor her in front of us. People were cheering and everything when Anita did that. Anita people went to get her and set her on stage with her to see the show up close and personal.

Her band was on point. Anita is such a perfectionist, you can’t do anything but appreciate and accept that fact that her name is what it is and in order for it to stay that way, its to open her mouth and make things happen. She was taping and she wanted her stuff right. SEveral songs she had to go over because she wasnt satisfied with it, and yall know it was COOL WITH US!!! LOL Her sons were there. I was sitting front row, and he son came out and sat in the 4 chairs after mines. I knew it was him. I took a photo before she mentioned him, because I know how she is with her kids * just like myself* and I didnt want to be disrespectful to her or her son. He is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo handsome!!! OMG. Anita introduced us to him, and she sung Same ole love, and pointed to him when she said ALL I WANNA DO IS SHARE MY LIFE WITH YOU, I WANT YOUR SAME OLE LOVE. We all kept looking at him, he’s soooooooooo handsome. After a while he got up and went back stage, Anita said I embarrsed my baby so he left. LOL I wonder do they wonder whats all the fuss with his mom and the fans? They just dont know those people tonight was going crazy. I live the older crowd and very very very very mixed.

She was killing those twist and turns in her heels prancing around the stage, she kept on trying to fix her hair talking about * oh my hair is messed up* we were like gurl you are Anita Baker FORGET YOUR HAIR WE LOVE YOU!!! LOL At the end as she promised. Her son had went to the back as her band was playing she was looking for him because it was his turn. He played fairy tales for her, and he threw DOWN!!!!! That little boy is bad, just like his momma! lol People were clapping and yelling for him. I have plenty photos of him. The lighting was very bad as far as taking photos. Im really disappointed about that part tho. I will post the best ones I have. I took goo gobs too. My friend said the same happened for him. he was in the 2nd row and it was dark for him as well.

Look for the DVD. When we duno either? Just look for it soon. LOL This was her best one yet. It was longer, more personable, it was HOME. I cant wait to see next years!!!! Wow wow wow is all I can say.

I will post photos tomorrow. I’s tied and its 3:27 am.

Then when I woke up there was more that came to me!!!

Thanks everyone.. But you all know this was fun reporting. This is my kinda stuff…………anythng Anita Baker. As I drove around today running some errands. I couldnt stop thinking about last night. I cant wait for all of us to be together next year. Im telling you all, this will be a concert you wont forget. Please try to make this concert here in Detroit. Im just excited about this whole thing. Anita is one bad sister. Her back up gurls were on point, the music, everything was just perfect for a Anita Baker night.

She even said that people stop her on the streets all the time and say * I have kids just by the sound of your vioice*. HOW AMAZING IS THAT TO HEAR? WOW

Ok, this post may be all over the place because things are coming to me. At one point after she had finished a song, she was like whewwwwwwwwww I’s tied * something like that*, so she went and sat on the piano with her band member. She was making jokes saying * Tito bring me some tissue * like Micheal Jackson once said, And she was waiting on her people to bring her smething to wipe her face with. They didn’t move at all. So a few audience members called her over to the edge of the stage and gave her some. That was cute. She got soooooooooo many flowers. I didnt see her exhusband Walter like I normally do at the concert. To me . Anita seemed to be more free, she seemed to be happy. She’s wayyyyyyyy more giving of herself when she’s on stage. She is defintely a perfectionist, and if you think she will stand for anything less than that. You are dead wrong. Dont even step to her. She know who she is, she know what she has built and continue to be through out the years, and she plans to stay that way. And I just her for it, because she is Anita Baker and will be wayyyyy after she gone. She deserves it!!!

She kept saying, stand up sing, clap your hands, hold hands, this is a family show, this is how we do it!!!! She says as long as its clean. LOL Couples were dancing and just having a l
overs time. The crowd was so mixed. I love that too. All races were there, people were people and it was allllllllllll so friendly.

She was scatting all over the place. I love scatting anyway, and nobody does it like Anita. Her facial expressions and everything just makes it all better. I wish I had a boo with me last night. Who ever I marry he BETTA love him some Anita Baker!!! LOL

It just amazessssssssss me how she can just open up her mouth and this big voice greets you. Amazing. She was hitting notes that if you teamed up 5 of the hottest and greatest new comers TODAY, they wouldnt be able to stand against the voice of Anita Baker. And they know it too. Her pipes are well and working!!!! I just love Anita Baker. I just love her!!!!! Goodness. And to think she lives 7 mintues from me, is even better.

Kym Worthy/Gerald Levert/ Anita Baker

Hey,

Thank you Lord for a wonderful weekend!!! This has truly been one to remember. I met some new people, went to see my #1 gurl Anita Baker * did I even have to say her name*. Today is my honey Gerald Levert\’s Birthday, met my favorite person around town at Walmart on Saturday, her name is Kym Worthy, she\’s our Wayne State Prosecutor. Went shopping today bought me a coupla outfits, rented me a 2008 car, and its back to work tomorrow.

Huhhhhhh, where do I start? Let me start with Kym Worthy. Let me let you read a little about her.

Detroit\’s dramatic prosecutor – Kym Worthy, lawyer in Malice Green police brutality case

lawyer\’s near-perfect conviction rate

SHE strides toward the witness stand, abruptly stops and strikes her now-famous pose, arms folded, head cocked to one side with her face contorted into a look of repulsed disbelief.

Detroit prosecutor Kym Worthy\’s withering glances, combative cross-examinations and numerous charts and graphs are just a few of the tactics she uses to persuade juries to convict perpetrators of serious crimes.

With her colorful business suits, multicolored painted fingernails and long, black tresses, Worthy is a college-educated homegirl who is calling her own shots in an ultraconservative, White male-dominated legal system.

The then 36-year-old lawyer scored her biggest victory when a jury convicted two White Detroit police officers charged with second-degree murder in the beating death of Black motorist Malice Green. (The police officers were fired after they were convicted were fired after they were convicted.) That victory boosted Worthy\’s win ratio to 90 percent of the 100 jury cases she\’s tried since joining the Wayne County prosecutor\’s office.

Worthy is clearly the go-to person when it comes to prosecuting high-profile cases. Her victories include the conviction of Michael Cato, who was charged with murder in connection with the death of his brother-in-law Anthony Riggs upon Riggs\’ return to Detroit from military service in the Persian Gulf. She also won a murder-for-hire case in which an elementary schoolteacher was fatally shot by a hit man in front of her sixth-grade students.

The charismatic attorney has a special knack for getting her message across to juries by using simple language and vivid illustrations. Her down-to-earth approach reached its dramatic height during the concurrent murder trials of former Detroit police officers Larry Nevers and Walter Budzyn.

While prosecuting Budzyn, Worthy stretched a tape measure 2 feet and asked Budzyn to explain how he could be so close to Green without witnessing his beating. \”You were this far away from Malice Green and didn\’t see him being pummeled to death?\” she asked incredulously. \”You couldn\’t smell the blood?\”

Worthy defends her courtroom tactics, saying she is well within the bounds of proper jurisprudence. She contends her remark about Budzyn\’s inability to smell the blood was not inflammatory.

\”I don\’t think that it\’s pushing the lines,\” Worthy says. \”I think it\’s just being thorough. He gave me a story that I didn\’t think was plausible. I wanted to make sure the jury was able to evaluate if for what it was worth, and I just wanted to show that it wasn\’t worth too much.\”

Some interpret Worthy\’s self-confidence as arrogance. She attributes that interpretation to sexism. \”They wouldn\’t say that about me if I were a man,\” she counters. \”I was no more aggressive, in my opinion, than any of the men that prosecuted the case.\”

Worthy blames a black of women trial lawyers for the public\’s misunderstanding of her courtroom demeanor \”People are not used to seeing females aggressively prosecute a case,\” she explains.

\”If you had a family member that was killed, wouldn\’t you want someone aggressively representing your side?\” Worthy asks in defense of her aggressive style. \”You wouldn\’t want them to be wimpish. You just don\’t prosecute homicides like that. I\’m going to do everything that I can that is within the bounds of the law.\”

Worthy\’s assertive manner and personal style were showcased during the three-month-long trial which ws broadcast nationally on cable television\’s Court TV channel.

\”I didn\’t realize so many people were watching the trial until people started stopping me in the streets telling me the prosecution was doing a good job,\” Worthy says. \”I knew that no matter what the verdict was, at least people would have seen the trial and could perhaps understand how the jury reached its verdict.\”

But being in the media spotlight every day had its drawbacks, Worthy says. At the beginning of the trial, the local paper published profiles of the attorneys involved in the case. While the stories on the male lawyers cited their experience, Worthy\’s article focused on her hair and nails.

\”Some people thought I was a bimbo of something,\” says the University of Michigan and University of Notre Dame Law School graduate. \”Thankfully, most people were familiar with my work and my record.\”

It is Worthy\’s solid conviction record that continues to fuel rumors that she is on the short list for a judicial appointment. The appointment, she says, would be welcome. \”I would like to become a Recorder\’s Court judge,\” she declares, noting that the post would primarily involve adjudicating criminal felony cases.

For now, Worthy is content to continue her courtroom battles and her work to encourage young people to consider a law career.

\”A lot of kids have come up to me since the trial and have said they want to become prosecutors,\” Worthy says. \”I think they realize that what I do is within their reach as opposed to becoming an entertainer or professional athlete.\”

Malice Green Beating Death Trials: 1993-2000

I was in the bathroom looking in the mirror when Kym Worthy walked in, looked at the back of her pants and was about to walk out. I am a person who observe everything, so I looked at her and said Oh my goodness. Ms. Kym Worthy. She looked at me and smiled, then she reached her hand out to shake mines, I was really happy to see her. I just started running off at the mouth in telling her how my daughter is in her last year in college, and that she will be going to Law School next year. I told her that my daughter loves her and admires her so much its crazy. I told her that my daughter wanted to work for her when she is done with school. As soon as I finished talking, it hit me. It hit me…..

I realized that she doesn\’t even know me. I realized that she never knew I exist, and never knew that God had even made me. I realized that my face was not a familiar one to her. I realized that all that late night talk my daughter does with me about working in this woman\’s office, she has no clue. I realized that what I was saying, she has heard many many many many times over again, same words, different people. I realized that in her mind, I\’m just like the rest of the people who approach her with their different stories on how she has moved them in one way or another. I realized that she gave me the same stranger look, the one babies give me as I talk, smile, and laugh with them while their mothers swipe their credit cards. I realized that its okay. It really is okay.

The fact is I admire her honest and truthfulness. I adm
ire the fact that she stands for the truth in everything. She is a woman of Integrity. She doesn\’t care what side of the Law you are on, in her mind………….right is right wrong is wrong. When she was running for a seat as a Judge I VOTED FOR HER. And when she became the first BLACK WOMAN Wayne County Prosecutor I VOTED for her. Ever since I watched her on court TV every every, every every every day, she became my gurl, and I just admire her court room style and her facial/ body language sarcasm. You can imagine as I\’m talking to her, all these thoughts and images are running through my mind. When I only needed to say……… WELL DONE MS KYM WORTHY!!!

After I left the restroom. It was time for me to punch out , go get my nails done and see my gurl Anita Baker in concert at DTE!!! I saw Kym again, this time I said Lord don\’t let this woman think I\’m following her. LOL As I\’m walking down the aisle my coworker blocked me off and said: Is that Kym Worthy? I said YESSSSSSSSSSS with a excited voice. She told me that she had been asking her some questions about some plastic totes. Then she said: Is she mean? I said no. She is only looking for answers when she ask a question. She\’s straight to the point, and she knows the right questions she needs to ask to get her business taken care of. AND I LOVE THAT ABOUT HER. WHY?????????? CAUSE I\’M JUST LIKE THAT!!! LOL SPIRITS CONNECT!!! After talking with her, I left the store went to my car and called Neisha who is in Cincinnati Ohio visiting her dad\’s family. I sat in the car and said NEISHA, NEISHA YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE WHO IS IN WALMART? SHE SAID WHO MOMMA ANITA BAKER? I SAID NOPE NOT THIS TIME? SHE SAID WHO? I SAID KYM WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORTHY!!!!!!! . LOL She said no momma you for real? Momma you for real? I said Neisha YESSSSSS, SHE\’S STILL IN THE STORE, I JUST PUNCHED OUT FOR THE DAY. I sajd boo I wish you were here with me. She wants to meet Kym so badly. I did ask her for her email address so that Neisha can email her and keep in contact. I told Neisha about it and she was so happy that I did that. I was nervous, but in my mind its do or die. I really hope Neisha gets to meet her one day, because she admire her so very dearly. WOW, Im really happy about that.

Today is Gerald Levert\’s Birthday. He would have been turning 42. He died so young. I will never forget my #1 male singer in the world. Goodness I miss him dearly.

I have all the Anita Baker Concert Goodies and photos tomorrow!!!

Love ya

Cree

Wow*

Thank you Lord for waking me up this morning. That dream I had telling me its time to wake up was soooo funny. No one but you can cause such a dream as that. Thank you.

* A Moments Thought*

In this entry I want to talk about honesty, being upfront, lying. Well to sum it up TRUTHFULNESS!

There are a lot of people who are not upfront and honest when it comes to communicating something to someone. Are we afraid of rejection? Are we afraid we are going to get squeezed out of a situation? Are we afraid of what others will think about us? What is it because I truly need to know.

Im not going to sit here and type this as if to mean that I have always been honest and upfront. I catch myself lying, and in the process I ask myself why are you saying this? First of all in order for you to be taken seriously you have to learn and understand that what ever the reason you are lying, you have to know no one can take your truth away from you. In this world * communication is everything*. People look at your *Credit History* when dealing with you. People want to know if you are trust worthy or if your just a person who is just trying to get by. It means a lot when you are a person that is honest and take it seriously. People shouldnt have to guess at what kind of person you are especially if its not the first time they are dealing with you. If you are known for lying, please understand you wont be called to the * witness* stand. If you are a person of honor, the truth will set you free. Make a choice to be an honest and trust worthy person today. Clean off your * Credit Report* with God and the people, and watch the blessings flow.

*Running off at the mouth*

I was watching the news today and saw the tape of what Rev. Jesse Jackson said. He was wrong wrong wrong. I don\’t care if the mike was on or off, he had no business not only thinking about someone\’s *nuts* being cut/pulled off, but he needed another Spirit * to tell it too* . He knows all to well of the postition Obama is in, Rev. Jackson needs to be ashamed of himself. Now he has to go back and re build credit with the people in order to Minister to them. Running off at the mouth like he did put him in that postion. Why would anyone want to listen to what he has to say now after this? I mean for real. Then we say : Blacks need to stick together. How bout we need to shut the heck up sometimes. We go from Suga to sh@@ on our own accord!! SMH. He should have known better than that.

*Tyler Perry*

Tyler Perry is the person who I admire out of every person in Hollywood, * like Oprah is the person he admired before he became famous* Maybe you have to be equal to the rich and famous in order to be in rich and famous people circles. Tyler, can I please meet you? Huh? May I please?

*what goes around comes around*

Hey! Happy 4th of July!!! Thank you Jesus for another day. Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you!!

Neisha left early this morning for Cincinnati, Ohio. That\’s one traveling Sista. Every thing worked out just fine. Yesterday I was a little upset with a few people. I was too angry to post it, so I went to bed. Now, I really don\’t want to get into it, because I\’m okay now. I had time to think about it and go over it in my head, and come to the conclusion that * What comes around goes around*.

But I will post this. When you marry a man and he has children/child, don\’t say things to question that child into thinking YOU THE WIFE don\’t like her. You tell HER MOM, that $15.00 a week child support is enough. Then you turn around and have his 2ND child.

NOW he leaves you 7 years later, come back to MICHIGAN * doing his thang*, spending his time with his now grown daughter, taking her to dinner, taking her out of town, helping her move out of her dorm, paying for her room and board, being with her every chance he gets. Because that\’s the way its suppose to be.

Now where are YOU? HOME ALONE!? It took 10 years to see this thing through…….but now its at your front steps. He did it to HIS DAUGHTER, why didn\’t you think you\’d be next? Hurt don\’t it? Its okay if you don\’t see him, but its another feeling when YOUR child ask *WHERE IS MY DADDY* HUH? I know the feeling gurl. Yeah he\’s part blame, but you didn\’t do your part as a wife and see to it that our kids became close, you wanted HIM/THE MAN all to yourself. Both of you packed up a few years ago and moved the family to ATL. HE\’S BACK HOME, and YOU\’RE THERE and as the saying goes * What goes around comes around BOO* YO TURN!

I hope that I didn\’t come off mean to the readers. I hope that someone reads this and see themselves. Enough of that mess.

I\’m off on Tuesdays so I got up early in the morning about 7am and went to my job *Walmart* to get Meet the Browns!! Yall know I am a Tyler Perry admirer to my heart!!! So, I must go on the very first day to get his movies. When I went to pay for them, I always talk to my co workers for about 30 minutes. I just don\’t know how to go to my job, walk in and walk out. I gotta talk to everyone. I\’m just so friendly. Anyway, why did my gurl ask me can she copy Tyler Perry\’s Meet the Brown? I looked at her and said gurl. you don\’t ask me can you copy Tyler Perry anything. I said gurl you got me messed up!!! First of all, Tyler Perry don\’t leave the house!!! Second of all, big money grip, BUY YOUR OWN!!! She said please Lacrease, I said gurl NO! When Tyler Perry get to my house, he never leaves. That\’s one thing I don\’t play about. I even let her borrow my car more than 3 times. But when it comes to my Tyler Perry things, I don\’t play like that. She left it alone, until the next day. After I gave her that final

Gurl Bye!

look she knew what time it was. LOL I use to let people use my Tyler Perry DVD\’s and end up having to buy then ova again, people get amnesia with your stuff. So here is how my collection is looking. Don\’t be jealous now. LOL

*knowing in advance*

Hey,

First I must say Thank you Lord for listening to my prayer last night, when I got to work this morning, and all through my shift. I tell you if it wasn\’t for you, I would be back to my mean ways, and out of control. But don\’t even worry, its not in me to return to my ways. I just wanted to let you know Lord, that I thank you for your whispers, and your wisdom. Thank you for telling me things over, and over, and over, and over again before they even happen. You have always given me that gift, and at one point I couldn\’t handle knowing things ahead of time and so I told you that I didn\’t want it. Yep, I told you to take it away because it was causing me too much * trouble*. I felt * odd* and *out of place* for knowing things in advance when others didnt have a clue for what was about to happen, or even happening. For many years, I was without that gift, and as I grew up and began to seek you, I needed it and ask for it back, and its in full effect now. Boy is it in full effect!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

I don\’t know where to start. There is so much going on right now * shaking my head* that\’s really nothing new to me, God told me all in advance, but I\’m still learning how to grasp all that\’s told to me before hand. I\’m going to get it right Lord, I promise you. I have got to learn how to control this feeling that comes over me once you reveal something to me. I\’m learning tho, I\’m learning. When I don\’t know the motive behind something, I get frustrated and want to go Madea on these people. LOL I know you are watching me, so no matter how crazy I looked today at my register praying. Just know… that I appreciate everything. THANK YOU DADDY.

Tomorrow after work I will share everything that\’s going on. Its nothing bad, but maybe someone can get something out of it for their own lives.

I\’m gone to bed for now, but I promise I will share it.

Lacrease

*Whats in my head*

Hey,

Thank you Lord for another day. Thank you for listening to me, when I went into the bathroom just to pray and give you Thanks at work this evening. Thank you for reaching out to me no matter where I am. Thank you for Loving me.Ok, there is a few things going on in my head, but its late, and I just want to show some videos and post little information that Im feeling today without having to blog. So try to feel my atmosphere as I really have nothing to say right now.

Essence: How was the ceremony?
Ruben Studdard:
It was beautiful. It was exactly what we wanted—a celebration of family and friends. There were no mishaps whatsoever. The wedding started at noon like we said it would, and it went off with no glitches.

Essence: What does it feel like to be Mrs. Studdard?
Zuri Studdard:
It’s great, but it really doesn’t feel any different. It’s fun to say I have a husband. I’m like, Wow, I’m a wife now.

Essence: How did you two meet?
RS
: We met at an autograph signing at a Wal-Mart in Atlanta. Zuri came to get a CD autographed for her best friend who couldn’t get off from work. When I saw her, I just thought she was beautiful. She told me about how much her friend loved me, and I was like, Well what about you? She was like, Well, you’re all right.

Essence: Weren’t you a fan of his music?
ZS:
I was but my best friend was the Ruben fanatic. Anything that had to do with Ruben she had to get it. So when she said she couldn’t get off from work, I volunteered to go. After I left the signing, he sent his best friend out to ask me if we could keep in touch and then he ended up coming out to talk to me.

Essence: Where did you go on your first date?
RS:
We went to see Blood Diamond at Atlantic Station in Atlanta.

Essence: What made you fall in love with Zuri?
RS:
She’s my best friend. I can talk to her about anything. When we go out, I just feel like I can always be myself. I never have to be anybody other than the real Ruben. Also, she’s the most gorgeous woman I’ve ever met. She loves God, and I love her for just being who she is.

Essence: What is it about Ruben that made you fall for him?
ZS:
Before we really started dating, it was as if I’d known him forever. He was my homeboy. Then, after I visited him in Birmingham for the first time, I just looked at him differently and thought, Wow, I could really love this guy. He’s sweet and genuine. I knew I was in love when I started telling my friends about him, and I was like, Ruben this, Ruben that.

How did you propose?
RS:
I had an engagement in Las Vegas, and I thought it would be cool to ask her there, but everything I’d planned kept falling through the cracks. I planned to propose to her while at dinner at the Venetian Hotel, but then the zipper to her dress broke and she wanted to go back to the room. So, I had to think of something else and just do it there.
ZS: I remember sitting in my apartment and joking around with him a few weeks before, like, You’re never going to want to get married. He said it was killing him, because he had just bought the ring and it was in his pocket the entire time.

Essence: What did you think when you saw the ring?
ZS
: Wow! I thought he was joking at first, but he was like, No I’m serious. I was so happy and in complete shock. It was a total surprise.

Essence: What did you think when you saw Zuri coming down the aisle?
RS:
It was really breathtaking. I smiled from ear to ear when I saw her. It was just an amazing moment. I’ve never seen her more beautiful than when they opened the door and she walked down the aisle.

Essence: Other publications reported that you were having as many as 20 groomsmen? Is that true?
RS:
No ma’am, that’s not true. We had eight groomsmen and eight bridesmaids. I asked my friend from college, a couple of guys that I’ve known since I was 3 years old, and my brother was my best man.

Essence: Where are you going on your honeymoon?
RS:
It’s a surprise so I’m keeping that to myself. All I’ll say is we’re headed to South America.

Essence: Do you plan on starting a family right away?
ZS:
We’re going to take a little time. We plan to hopefully have kids in the next year or so.

Essence: Now that you’re off limits, how do you think being married will affect your fan base and music?
RS:
It will be fine. People know that I’m a good southern boy and this is a part of life. I hope all my fans will appreciate the type of music I will be making now. You know, life brings about change. The more you experience, the more you’re able to write about, so I’m sure this will reflect in some way in my music.

Essence: Aren’t you working on a new album?
RS:
I’m working with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, making great music, and just trying to get it out. We’ll reconvene once I get back from my honeymoon and hopefully get the album out before September.
