Its day 9 into the 21- Day May Challenge, and I lost a total of 6 pounds!!! Yeaaa. I’ve been drinking lots and lots of water, no juice or pop. For the last few days I’ve been eating strawberries and kiwi. Surprisingly, lots of corn on the cob and raw broccoli out of the bag too. OOO, its so good. I have a bag of apples I have yet to touch. I have to be in a mood for apples and oranges and when I do, I go weeks having it for breakfast daily. I must have ice cold water, I keep them in the freezer. So, yeah I’ll keep updating, it seems to help me on this journey.
Yesterday I was watching ID and wow, there are so many gullible women out there. We have to do better with meeting men, because after 4 weeks declaring that its okay to move them in is not cool. If a man or woman don’t have themselves together, stop trying to date them. Let them get on their feet first. A real man or woman wouldn’t even want to start a relationship until they get themselves in order. By the time the woman realize the “nothing nut” aint no good, he has gotten so comfortable that he doesn’t want to leave. Then the kids are involved and its a big ole mess. Stop being so needy!!! This is one thing that kills me about women. Instead of enjoying peace in your own place, some rather move in a man so that they can “watch” them, make sure they’re not cheating. Its hard to keep watch on a married man these days, so stop trying to keep it on a 4 week old “boyfriend”.
These days people feel pressured to do something, to fit in with what everybody else is doing. Stay in your own lane, do your own thang. Stop always looking over seeing what others are doing, just to desire if for yourself. Now if it motivates you do it… but be your own woman.
Be Blessed Where works of the flesh exists, there is NO joy
Got in the elevator today and the guy that I like was on there. He was the first face I saw when the doors opened. My heart started racing fast. The way we look at each other is FIYAH. Unspoken words are so sexy to me. Had I been already on the elevator when he was getting on, I would have felt in control. I felt him staring at him me, but I couldn’t move. Not to mention today is one of my quiet days. I know my scent was all over him. Those few minutes felt like forever as he stood behind me. I know he wanted me to turn around. I couldn’t. Goodness, I just couldn’t. Others were on there too….. I know they felt our vibe. I could have gave “them” more, but today was one of my shy days.
Just wanted to sneak in here right quick. I’m writing a LOVE STORY. Its coming together so fast in my mind. I’m so sick of these Reality Shows and these people acting a fool. So I decided to put something different in MY own head. I’m going to write a little more, then call it a night.  Alright
If you’ve been following my blogs you’ll know my Town and Country was stolen the end of Feb from my apartment complex. I was very upset about this, but at the same time everything is in Gods control and there is nothing I can do about it. I’m okay.
A few weeks after that, I was looking into the parking lot from my window, when I noticed that the 24 hour security guy had the gate opened. Every time someone has to come through the gate, he has to push the button to let them in. Well, I was heated that it was open. I want that gate to be closed at all times. To go outside to your car and its not there is a terrible feeling, and I don’t wish that on anyone. So, I marched down stairs like I was the POLICE and asked him why did he have that gate open? He said “I have it open sometimes because its not a lot of traffic at night and I’m facing them anyway. I said … SO WHATS YOUR PUPOSE OF EVEN BEING HERE THEN? I said … my van was stolen on this shift and I feel that it should be closed and when someone pull up then you open it. I guess he saw that I was mad. LOL He was blunt and truthful too. He said.. if they wanted to steal a car in here, all they have to do is what they did to you. Come in through the gate, one on the passenger side and one driver. Pull up to the car and hop in it. He said all I can do is call the Police . I was so irritated when he said that… but he was telling the truth. I went up to my apartment and was on FIRE.
Through the night I had time to think about it , he was right. That’s what made me question myself and ask…. was I mad at what he said, or how to the point he said it? I guess my answer would be…. to the point. So, the next day as I was leaving the building, I wanted to make friends with him, because I was wrong, and he knew I was 15 seconds away from turning into the Incredible Hulk in that lobby. LOL This is how I approached him. I said… Wasn’t I mad at you last night and you still didn’t close the gate”? He laughed!!! HE said yes… all I was doing was telling you that if they wanted to steal a car they’ll get it anyway. He said I’m right here watching the gate and cameras, and still all I could physically do is call the Police. Once he started talking, and I listened…. I knew it was something about him that reminded me of MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.. I asked him…. when is your birthday? He said Sep 6. I knew it.. I knew it.. He’s a VIRGO just like me. He said yess, people get mad because I’ll tell the truth. I couldn’t do anything but laugh. Now he’s my boy. LOL
Yesterday I call my self chatting with him for a few minutes before I went to my apartment, even though I had groceries in my hands. Whew Chile…. he can GO!!! Baaaaaby I thought my ice cream was never going to make it to the freezer. LOL It never fails… whenever I meet a MALE VIRGO.. we always get into it. Never fails. Then once we start to talking and understanding each other …. we find out that were so much alike.
I still think the MEN are crazy… the women are SWEET LOL
You know…. when you’re going through something, or when you’re learning to be a more humble person, you learn more because you’re in a quiet state of mind. You see who your friends are, you see people, things and situations in a whole new light. Something you wouldn’t have ever learned had you been the same person you were before you started going though. Its really funny to me.

We have 24 hour security in my building, and one of the guys who use to work the afternoon shift use to always ask me “what’s in your bag”. “where are you coming from” or “what are you cooking today”? It was always in good spirits and a friendly tone of voice. Well he moved out of the building on Monday. I had just pulled out of the parking lot and he did too. I didn’t notice him, but he did me. So when we got to the light (( he was in front of me)) he put his car in park, got out and started walking up to my car. I’m looking at him like.. OMG.. this guy about to do something to me!!!! When I finally recognized his face, he reached in the car and gave me the sweetest hug and chat. He said I moved out of the building today, but I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate everything you’ve done for me. You have really been sweet to me, and I wanted you to know. In my mind I’m like… dang what I do? Eventually I thought about a few times when he knocked on my door and needed a few dollars, meals that I made him while he sat at the desk for hours sometimes doing doubles. Wow, it goes to show you, that what you do people really do appreciate it, and they really go out of their way to let you know. I must admit, he was starting to get spoiled… had to pull back on the meals… you know MEN WILL TRY TO FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR COOKING.. LOL LOL Just playing. But it was sad seeing him leave. May God Bless Him.

All this week and last week, in my building they’ve been testing our fire system. They put up notes on each floor by the elevator so that we can know. Well since we’ve been hearing them all last week, and several times this week. WHY DID WE REALLY HAVE A FIRE YESTERDAY AND WHEN I HEARD THE ALARM, I WAS LAYING ON THE COUCH AND IGNORED IT? LOL LOL Then I heard a knock on the door saying that it wasn’t a DRILL it was for real. Man… I got my chubby but up so fast and grabbed my coat, purse and keys and was getting it down those stairs. LOL I heard those fire trucks… baaaaby I was out this building!!!
Â
I’m very silly, so stuff doesn’t bother me as much as it does the next person. But I can’t stand people who LOVE attention. If you keep up with my blogs, I shared a story about this older nice looking black man who lives here. He loves to tell stories about how he use to be, and the women and business he had. He love talking about all the money had made. And if I’m around.. I make sure I don’t give him any eye contact, because he seems to HAVE EVERYONE LISTENING TO HIM….EVERYTIME HE OPENS HIS MOUTH, HE HAS TO BE LOOKING AT ME, TO SEE MY FACIAL EXPRESSION AND TO SEE IF HE HAS MY ATTENTION. I REFUSE TO GIVE HIM MY ENERGY. So, as soon as I got to the EXIT door outside, there was HIM and all his “friends” in wheel chairs, standing, sitting, and he’s telling them how his apartment was the one that caught fire because he was cooking some beans when he decided to go up stairs and check on his friend. He wanted me to look at him SO BAD. I WOULD ‘NT LOOK HIS WAY. All his friends were in a circle.. like he’s Jesus of Nazareth. I went in my purse grab my car keys and went to the car until it was time to go in the building. LOL LOL #boybye
Â
LOL LOL LOL LOL Later on after I went to run some errands and was in for the night. Didn’t I get in the elevator with ONLY HIM to go to my apartment? LOL LOL He was DETERMINED to tell me that it was him that burned UP his apartment. I didn’t have a choice but to listen.. He finally got his lil story out ***rolls eyes***
All I could do was LAUGH when I got out. I guess that was God’s way of saying ” Cree stop being so mean to him”. LOL
I had a great time with my Sisters at Red Lobster yesterday evening. We get together every month for dinner to catch up with each other. Then afterwards we ALWAYS end up at their favorite bar… Kwick’s for Karaoke.
I rode with my Sister Peedie. But before we left, she made a stop at home to check in on her husband, and to change clothes . He came out to the truck to greet me, I noticed that he had this “puppy dog” look on his face, that would kill him to admit….. he wanted to go with us. LOL I know him so well… I love, love , love my brother -n- law because he treats my sister so well. But my sister told me that when its time for our Sisters gathering, that’s our time. She said me and him are always out and about after work, going to dinner, movies, and shopping. She said this is my time to be with my Sisters. I got that. ……. I guess 🙂
All 9 of us met at 7pm and was seated. Just then my cousin Darcella came in with her husband Wood * who is really MY blood cousin*. ((())) We didn’t know that she was bringing him * wood* with her. But it was cool. In the middle of dinner, someone suggested that we go to Karaoke afterwards. We all agreed and trailed each other. When we got in the car my sister Peedie called her husband and told him to come down to the bar, because wood wanted a guy to be with him. One of our other sisters called her husband down and he came too. But when my sister Peedie’s husband found out that wood was at the dinner, he was kinda disappointed and felt that my sister didn’t want HIM to come. He noticed that Darcella and Wood are ALWAYS TOGETHER NO MATTER WHAT, and wonder why my sister didn’t feel that way. We told him that it was a Sister gathering, we didn’t even know Wood was coming. She tried to get him to come to the bar, but he went to bed… sad….. ahhhhh. Well we had a GOOD TIME!!! LOL
I love, love, love my VIRGO brother-n- law Mark, who my sister didn’t invite either. I love when he’s with us.. but end up spending it with his brother Deitrick* Haddon*
My point in all of this is… There was a time * in our teens and 20’s* when we (((Sisters))) would jump in our cars and hunt down our men and try to be with them. We all were PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS… tracking down all their whereabouts, friends, family members and phone numbers. We wanted to be with them even if they went to the store. We wanted to know when, where and why. We questioned who they were with, who was there, why they wanted to be there so bad, when were they coming home, and who did you meet while there.
Times has really changed. LOL LOL * I’m laughing so hard*. I WISH THE HELL I WOULD………. look for my husband or boo. I just don’t have that kinda time. I cant believe how much time and work I use to put into finding out what he was doing. LOL Realizing now, that was taking time from ME….. DOING ME… LOL. Every time the Sisters get together, their husbands want to come so bad… and since I don’t have one, I’m the one feeling bad for them and convince the Sisters to let them come with us. They have the best husbands… DRAMA FREE. But I’m learning to understand Sister time is Sister time, and Husband time is Husband time. I get it…. they just look so pitiful. LOL LOL
Thing is they know their wives are not doing anything wrong… they just feel that they should be able to come along and have guy talk at the other end of the table. But what the men don’t understand is……its not about them separating themselves at the end of the table…. the Sisters want to have Sisters Day without them being present PERIOD. LOL
Boy have times changed. LOL LOL * cracking up laughing*
I had to have been around 15 when I read this from the Bible.

2 Timothy 3:6
New King James Version (NKJV)
6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,
I was horrified that one day this could be me. I remember thinking…. God please don’t let me seem gullible to a man where he comes into my life/home and make this Scripture true for ME. Still till this day… I believe with all my heart this is the reason why I NEVER let a man move in with me. Not only that but I never lived with him either. Its bad enough I’ve had my share of “clowns” without living together. And I will say this, women in these types of relationships are breaking up with these men….. after having their babies. That’s when low self esteem comes in, and the woe as me syndromes. Women we’ve got to pay more attention.
This can’t keep working. When it comes to these types of conversations and my friends come to me for advice. IM BRUTAL….. with LOVE. I am Zero Tolerance for this type of relationship behavior. MY advice to this women is this
find something about YOURSELF that you LOVE and ADMIRE
find out what it is that you like to do , that brings out your personality
I love and enjoy quiet time near The River. I have to make that kind of time for myself. Being near water for me brings a peace and calm…. I’ve never known. Make sure that you PUT THIS TIME ASIDE. It helps me to see life clearer, and the people that’s in it. What brings out my personality is… making small talk with strangers. I enjoy talking to people who are different than myself. They interest me, and I can always learn something new.
The more you get to know YOURSELF…. when “The One” does come along, he will appreciate you more for being YOUR OWN PERSON, not someone who needs HIM to come and “complete” you.
I know its hard being single…. but be a WOMAN who refuse to deal with any and everything, for the sake of “having a man”. And I noticed the SAME WOMEN.. who chose these types of men, are the first ones who will say…. my momma aint trying to help me, my friends aint there for me, don’t nobody care about how I get from A to B. Wont nobody come and pick me up. And I’ll say to them… YOU’RE REALLY MAD AT YOUR BOYFRIEND…because he’s not doing his job by providing a way for you to do those things…… HOW DARE YOU TURN THIS ON YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!! These type of women will blame all the names in their cell phones, before they’ll ADMIT… they made a wrong choice in their relationship.
Its okay to live alone, or with your children. Date a man for dear life if you have too. Stop be so submissive to the first man who tells you….. your hair is pretty. Know your own hair is pretty FIRST…. then let him put his AMEN with it. Compliments you’re hearing for the first time from a man… YOU MUST HAVE NEVER TOLD YOURSELF FIRST. So yes… of course it sounds good and special. Get to know YOU. A person is willing to help a single mother faster than they would a woman who has a NO GOOD MAN , sitting on her couch…… PLANT MANAGING A REMOTE CONTROL

Don’t wait around for other people to be happy for you. Any happiness you get you’ve got to make yourself. –Alice Walker
I’m addicted to ID…Oh my goodness…. Sometimes I’m up to 4-5 am on the weekends watching these shows. Women are so gullible these days. I have so much I want to say…. this show has really changed the way I look at relationships. These online dating sites, and these needy men….. Oh WOMEN are something else too. I’ll be doing some post this week on this subject. Some of this stuff is SPOOKY. LOL LOL You can’t watch all these shows at night. LOL And I promise to very transparent. Okay….. talk later.
The video clip below is soooooooo SPOOKY TO ME.. The part at 1:37 when she covered her mouth.. OMG. THE WAY SHE DID IT…..SO SCARY
I went to CVS get some cold medicine. As I was walking from the parking lot this guy was behind me. I didn’t turn around because it was cold and I was trying to get in the building. As we walked in together, I never looked back at him, I got on the elevator with him and another guy as I went in first I asked them their floor and pushed the buttons. At some point in the elevator I felt him trying to look at me. I was looking and feeling a hot mess. I had no intentions of given any one any eye contact. I had on my night gown, 2 shirts, a coat and a sweater under it. I had on 2 head scarfs, a hat and my hood from my coat. I didn’t want to make eye contact with anyone. I wasn’t feeling well and I just wanted to get back in the apartment to lay down.
I knew he was trying so hard to see my face, and I wouldn’t let him. LOL I took my keys out of my coat pocket preparing for the elevator to open. That’s when he saw my hands. He said “Ooo that’s a nice polish, what color is it”? LOL LOL I gave him what he wanted… to look into my eyes. I FINALLY looked up at him and said “its kinda orange.” He was so happy. I smiled at him. He smiled back. I know he hated it was time for me to get off…..and that another person was watching it all. When the door opened, I turned around and looked at him one last time before it closed.
I realized that God equipped me with Being a Visionary I have insight on things that others just don’t see, or understand…. and ITS OKAY. As a visionary you have to be able to think quickly and able to come up with solutions. You have to always have a plan B. I have a gift to vision the whole thing in progress before it even happens while sitting in my living room months before time. In doing this, I can see all the issues that may come up, and that is how this is able to go smoothly EVERY YEAR. THANK YOU JESUS.
While I was preparing for our 5th Feeding the Homeless for Thanksgiving, my mother, and sister said to me…..* WE laughed* what do you do, because all we see you doing is writing stuff down on your notes? I laughed so hard at them, while they laughed at me… and I said yall have NO idea what it takes to pull this all together. Had this been years and years ago when they were “cracking jokes” hehehehing….. I would have been mad * only for a moment*…. but I knew that they didn’t know any better, and when they see me in action…. they’re going to “FEEL BAD FOR ME” in a sense.
The day before we went out to the streets to feed the homeless, I met my mommy over to my sister house were we sit up, snack, laugh, and talk about different things going on. We were all comfortable when my phone rang… I had to go and meet someone to collect items. When I told my family I would be right back… they were unhappy. They thought I was there to chat… but really I knew I had to meet donors in the area. When I returned…… 30 minutes after that I had to meet someone else, they wanted to know how long I was going to be… because they wanted to sit up and talk.LOL LOL *since they were hehehe about me* But see little did they know I had to do a lot of running around. So after my 3rd pick up, they were like… omgoodness we’re starting to see what you really do. They asked me do you feel like all of this driving? I said yes. I love to drive so this is nothing to me. When 5 pm came, that was my last pick up, and then it was time to take things to my other sisters house to store until the next day. With all the running around… I put in $38.00 in my tank just for those 2 days ALONE then I had to put in $45.00. YES #TRUESTORY
Wednesday morning I was up at 7 am… ready to drop nesha off at work, then to Walmart, Target to pick up some last minute things, picked up my BFF with macaroni and cheese, her daughter, then to my sisters house to get MORE macaroni and cheese she had made that morning before she went to work. We had even more things to unload before we started the process. Whew that was a lot to unload.
By this time it was after 11 am. WE had to bag all 150 dinner rolls, 150 cookies, then we had to tear off over 200 pieces of aluminum foil to cover the dinners. We had to put can pop, and water in 150 bags. WE had some much trash. LOL After we did the drinks, we had to hall them into the van because they took up a lot of space on the floor. After all the food was done, and ready to be served except for a few things that needed to be heated…..my CREW WAS HUNGRY. ME….. when I’m busy like that and I want things done… I can go all day until were done before I even get hungry. So, I had to pause for that… usually I buy extra chicken, rolls and pop for everyone who participated, but they wanted
Mc Donald’s. I didn’t want to go way across town to pick up the chicken AND make extra trips to the restaurant, so I timed it so that we can make only one trip. Whew… the faces people make when they’re hungry is funny!!!! I had my friend Gloria call several places that I had written down to get the best deals for 300 WHOLE PIECES OF CHICKEN WINGS. We found a deal $190.00 we were off to get food. Me, gloria, Charlene and Tyra. It took us over an hour to return and that set us back from being out on the streets at 4 pm. I wasn’t happy about that, but oh well, what can I do?
When we returned my friend Nicole and her 2 daughters were on their way. We knew that once we got in the house we had to get started making 150 plates and when I say it takes some time….. BELIEVE ME!!! They had chicken and dressing, potato salad, string beans with white potatoes, mac and cheese, dinner rolls, and 2 pieces of fried chicken. Pop, water, brownie, and cookies.
What I learned is that here in Detroit the weather changes from year to year.. and when its cold outside I have to make sure we are on the streets be fore dark at least 4 because they go inside of a building and stay. Last year when it was warm, they were all over the streets and it took us 7-10 minutes to pass out all the food. This year it took us longer because dark caught us, and it was cold outside. So next year I’m going to focus on quality instead of quantity. We can make the plates heavier with food, we can give more deserts out, we can also pass out more waters or pop and juice.
After it was over.. my mommy and sister said we ARE SO SORRY FOR MAKING JOKES ABOUT YOU AND YOUR NOTES… my mommy said she could NEVER IN HER LIFE DO WHAT I DO AND STILL HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE IN FROM OF EVERYBODY. They said…..we never knew it takes all of that to pull this together. They helped me all the way through and couldn’t believe all the work it takes. LOL I told them… I knew they didn’t see the big picture like I did… I know it is God who gives me the drive and motivation to put this together. It takes a sane mentality to inbox, phone, email, text people to make sure everything is going well… I am so proud of myself to truly learning how to “keep it moving” no matter what’s going on.
After we loaded my van, Nicole’s truck and my sister/hubby car… we went to the streets of downtown Detroit. We were so tired.. but for some reason I was up the next morning at 7am. Wow God… for real? LOL
