The post office ladyyou can tell that she was very educated, and worked as a social worker or teacher…. she was on a kane, and looked good for her age.. when i finshed being nice to the other people who came in after me asking the SAME QUESTIONS… they both kept wanting me to look at them, so they could smile and be “my friend”… it killed me, but when i was leaving and she was still there… I LOOKED AT HER.. and she was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice to me.

When the gurl in the drive thru rolled her eyes so hard that all the white in her eyes was showing like she was having a seizure. I laughed.. and when the lady said in her spooky and sarcastic voice ” if they was open, we would’nt be standing here”..but let me tell you WHAT I KNOW.I KNOW.. AND GOD KNOWS that I can set it off!!!! I have shown myself this to be true many and plenty of times. Baaaaaaby.. please believe it!!! But the CHALLENGE IS TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENTLY. To act a different way of what you are use to acting. The challenge is to be a LEADER and not react the way they did. Again,…. cause we KNOW… we have the POWER TO SET IT OFF UP IN THERE. When you know your strengths.. you can chose to either use it… or not. You have a choice in the way you react.

    So, God says to me…. LaCrease I know, and you know.. that you can set this little post office area off right? He said I allow you to be angry… and you can have your moment SILENTLY.. so what I did was because it made me so mad.. I had to walk around in my little square area of the post office to calm down… and what I do when I’m angry is think about things that make me happy which are….. Trees, flowers, water, the sky, and green grass. THESE THINGS CALMS ME ALL THE WAY DOWN. Once I calmed down… I HAD TO SHOW THEM HOW TO GREET PEOPLE… So what God did was… he let 5 people walk through the door…. a few asked the same QUESTION I DID…. And when they did I made sure I greeted them, NEVER GIVING THEM ANY TIME TO OPEN THEIR MOUTHS… I was the one who told them that they opened at 9:30.

    I laughed at the gurl in the drive thru.. cause she has no idea that doing that to me…. BACK IN THE DAY… that she was very close to having a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY BAD DAY. The beauty in this is…. again God says .. Lacrease I KNOW, AND YOU KNOW.. you have the POWER in you to “set it off”… so do something differently… so I LAUGHED AT HER PAIN *of putting ketchup in MY bag” WOW WOW WOW Cause real talk…. if putting ketchup in my bag caused you to have seizure like episodes….. you aint mad at me boo… YOU MAD AT THE WORLD.. YOU MAD AT YO-SELF, YOU MAD AT YOUR LIFE. LOL LOL LOL PEOPLE LIKE THAT I LAUGHS AT. LOL LOL LOL And I kept it moving, driving down gratiot while digging in my bag… eating my french fries. LOL GURLBYE

    The POWER is not in showing them you can nut up too… the POWER is really in.. showing them that you’re going another route. 10 years as a cashier at Walmart … baaaaaaaaaby I got it together. LOL LOL LOL LOL

The lady at the POST OFFICE PART 1 * wow*……Crees Blog Entry

A REAL WOMANGood Morning…. Soooooooo today I walks into the post office around 9:20am… and there were a man about my age and a black older lady. I was kinda shock to see them standing there. So before I went any further as they were “ALREADY STARING AT ME” I looked at them both and asked…..are they open? The lady looks at me with this spooky smile and sarcastic voice and said…. “if they was we wouldn’t be standing here” I said to myself ….Oh Lawd Jesus ….. ITS A FIRE!!!!….

When I FIRST meet a person, and they get smart… all types of bells and whistles, choirs , little kids singing, dogs barking, cat scratching, horns, guitars, drums, organs and all these things start INSTANTLY goes off in my head. All I could do is look at her…. she KNEW I wasn’t playing after I stared at her for about 40 minutes non stop * just playing*. Not that I would go off on her, because I have self control PRAISE GOD and I would never disrespect anyone. So, I said so the answer is NO? They both said.. very quickly a the same time…. No, not until 9:30. As I stood there to calm down… I realized that they open that part of the post office up for those people who have mailboxes, and they were just standing in that area until they opened. See, that was my reason for asking why were they standing there. I thought it all opened at the same time.

So, obviously they were first and second in line when they finally opened. They wanted to be my friend so bad… I WOULD NOT LOOK AT THEM. they kept turning around looking at me. So after my turn. the lady waited around for her package.. she looked at me with a nice smile * like she should have had done in the first place” and said have a nice day. I smiled back and said.. “you too maam”. Then here come homeboy…. you pretty, why you so pretty? Can I have your number…. I SAID IM MARRIED and jumped in my van. I KILLED THEM BOTH WITH KINDNESS. When people were coming in after me asking the same question.. I made sure their smart mouths didn’t spoil the atmosphere for others like they did me… I said to everyone who came in.. they open at 9:30. LOL

Question… why do people have smart mouths… why couldn’t she just say… they open at 9:30? Just a few nights ago, me and Nesha was at Wendy’s drive thru.. we ask the lady for ketchup… she rolled her eyes so hard… all I could see was THE WHITE PART IN HER EYES. And I’m looking at her like guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurl back in the day… I WOULD HAVE SNATCHED THOSE HEAD SETS OFF WITH YOUR EAR!!! LOL LOL LOL Yall who know me KNOW THIS IS TRUE. All I could do was bust out laughing in her face. I said to myself gurl you have no idea how GOD IS REALLY SAVING YOU RIGHT NOW! LOL People…. show yourself friendly… no matter what kind of mood you’re in. Smile, you’re only in strangers lives for a few minutes… aint no sense in acting funny. Be helpful, listen to others, make short conversation in showing yourself friendly…. … I TRY TO LIVE THIS life everyday. SMILE

Virgo Women Part 1…… Crees Blog Entry

cresterOkay….so I’ve been watching my TOP POST… and it seems to be the Virgo Men topic. LOL There most be a lot of them out there, because when I tell you people have been reading them…. please BELIEVE!

So…. I’m doing a VIRGO WOMAN. Yes, and since I’m a Virgo…. I have a lot to say. *smiling*

THE VIRGO WOMAN

I was born September 3, 1967. Not only am I a Virgo. But I RAISED a Virgo daughter… and her birthday is also Sept 3. Virgos are VERY SECRETIVE. We share a lot ….. but what we keep to ourselves OTHERS would consider a SECRET. I use to love reading as a child… and as a result before my daughter was even born… I went out and bought so many books it was crazy. When she was able to read…. she read them ALL. Other kids wanted toys at her young age…. she wanted books. She told me in her life.. she has read over 300 of them.
Virgos also love to write. We are very visual people. We see it in our minds.. and then its down on paper. When people are telling us a story about something that has happened…. we are visioning it as the story is being told….and in our minds if something is out of place *in our mental picture* we will stop you in the middle of the story, so that you can fill in the gap…. then you can continue. VIRGOS ask a lot of questions. Its because we want to know the truth. We are natural born listeners, and story tellers, and in order for something to make sense to us… we ask questions. Many people look at us as being “noisy” but that’s not true at all. We look at it like this… if we’re going to SPEND our time *minutes* on listening to YOUR story…. then we want to understand it. You cant just “breeze” through a story with us… while having our full attention. We don’t waste minutes on a conversation that we can’t ask questions too. Because in our minds….. we could be doing something else.

Virgo Women knows a lot of people. Our personality attracts many. A young virgo woman is always trying to find her way. As she gets older, wisdom sets in and she can spot a snake in the grass. She pays attention to everything. She may not say a word.. but in her mind she has arrived at her own conclusion. People always wants to know…”what does she think”? That’s the thing about us…… we wont share everything.. but we will give you enough.

People will show you who they are…….Crees Blog Entry

blueskiesIts been almost a whole year since I moved into my apartment. My life has changed so much. I pray more and talk to God everyday around the 5 o clock am hour. I’m more stronger as a person. I listen more, and I pay attention to everything. I love to learn people. And since I work with teens, I pay attention to their behavior, and more importantly ADULTS.

I was listening to Steve Harvey one day and was so upset the way he was rushing, and fast talking his callers. The way he talks to LISTENERS is so disrespectful. But when a celebrity calls in… he talks to them as if they can find out secrets about him and expose them. He talked to them with respect and as a person on HIS level. One day it was so bad… I had to turn the station.. it killed me to hear him talk to another person in that way. Which takes me to another situation. I’m always the one who likes to defend a person, but now I sit back and pay attention to what is being said…. I don’t open my mouth. And I always find out the person who I’m always defending… is the one who is “doing the most”. When God told me that he was God and I didn’t have to defend anybody anymore….. I rest. I just sit back and watch it go down. Legs crossed…. arms folded. And in THAT ORDER.

People will show you who they are. They will mistreat you * in their own little way*, while trying their best to be up in somebody else face… who they feel is more “influential ” than THEMselves. I’m so glad I am who I am. A person of influence… with NOTHING TO PROVE IN THIS WORLD.. TO OTHERS, FOLKS AT MY JOB, TO MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS. I AM FREE.

I just hate when people treat others differently just because they feel that they’re not on their level. It could be success, or pay scale, living arrangements, or anything. People pick debates just to not hold a conversation with them. They want to purposely feel “some kinda” way for you, just so that they don’t have to be bothered. But its all good…. BECAUSE I see the fall that’s ahead…..* and I have no POWER to stop it*

Scriptures for Comfort……..The Best Man Holiday…..Crees Blog Entry

Its been a while since I really sat down to write. It’s amazing how much strength you really have when you have to go through something you thought from a distance you wouldn’t be able to handle. I owe all of that to GOD. When it comes to death…. I have several Scriptures that totally takes the FEAR out of me and replace it with God’s Love. I’ve always been the kind of person who can’t take having to go to a funeral. I’m very emotional when I see others cry. But recently, I went to 3 funerals in 3 weeks…. and I found out that I am a VERY STRONG WOMAN. So many funerals I missed because I didn’t think I could “do it”. When they start preaching, and sanging….I feel so good. I NOW know how to allow God to take over MY thoughts and replace them with HIS words. These are my absolute favorite Scriptures during time of comfort.

2 Corinthians 5:6–8

6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For lwe walk by faith, mnot by sight:) 8 nWe are confident, I say, and owilling rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

 

John 14:18

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

I went to the movies to see The Best Man Holiday. That movie was one of the best I’ve seen in years. I really enjoyed this cast. Such a beautiful and talented one. I never in a million years expected to cry all through the movie as I did this one. Even the things that happened was done decent and in order. The comedy was perfect and expected from everyone. I’m very well pleased about this movie…. I mean really. Now if we could get a Love Jones 2, and Why did I get married 3….that would be great!

 

As I wrap up…. allow God to comfort you during hard times. Don’t just “say” it… let it happen. Think about the good times you’ve shared with this person…..let that being you peace and comfort. This is one reason who God gave us a memory right? One is that we can remember when our family and friends are no longer with us. Enjoy and Praise God for the fact that we are allowed this joy.

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth……Crees Blog Entry

our presSometimes I just sit and wonder how did we come to a place where all we think about is material things. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with having a nice place, a car that gives you no problems, and money to pay off your bills. If you’re going to tell a story….tell the story. Braggers are the worst. Now, I have to sit here and hear someone go through something that they missed all because of GREED.When you chase after money, and “stuff” you miss out on LOVE. When you chase POWER AND CONTROL… you miss out on LOVE. And those are the PEOPLE CONSTANTLY reminding others with this MESS…..”I can’t trust nobody” Well before you realized what your money can buy, you should have known that LOVE is going to out last your material things……and NO… you cant trust everybody! Material things can burn up in a fire…. LOVE CANT. Pray and ask God if you can get back the LOVE you lost…. and next time boo…..remember this Scripture Matthew 6:19-21 ESV /“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

It puzzles me sometimes how I prayed to work with children and even though I’m not making near as much as I’m worth… I enjoy going to work everyday. But what I didn’t expect is to work with a few women who makes the atmosphere very uncomfortable. I just knew those days were over when I left Walmart. Maybe this is why I’m taking it so hard…. I thought working with adults was over and that I can only focus on the children. Its a shame when OLDER women are still so childish and immature. I’m very good at ignoring people, but when you have to communicate and it doesn’t happen….. its terrible. This really makes me want to start my own Non Profit Organization… I need team leaders and players. People who are there for the children. People who care for them, and not sit up and say ” I don’t care what they do”. I just have a HUGE problem with people who take jobs that are not really into it…. especially when it comes to caring for other peoples kids.

 

I have a lot on my mind… nothing bad… just “stuff” LOL So, I’m going to bed. Good Night and Be Blessed.

But this older lady I’m working with…..is killing my Spirits
She’s not a team player… and she makes my job harder
She taught me the ropes… now I can’t stand the site of her… I really wish she would quit…. SHE HAS NO CONNECTION TO THE TEENS OR ANYONE ELSE
She’s always in competition with me
Why did I ignore it so long?
Maybe I wanted to ignore it… who am I?
Well, when I think about it….
The ASST principal is always coming to me for answers
she knows I love my job, she can see it on my face, she looks to me for leadership and knowledge of my job
While my coworker looks at me like “who is she… I was here first”?

The ladies who work in the kitchen tells me ” Sunshine you don’t have to pay for anything… just tell me what you want”
While my coworker wants everything FREE… I always offer to pay for mines… and this is why they want to give it to me… they don’t have to do anything for me
At first she parked in the back.. on a rise so that people can see her “big truck”
But when I said I like to park in the front so I can keep an eye on my van… NOW SHE PARKS IN MY SPOT ***UGH***
When she sees my on my phone, she says her AARP phone is just right for her, then later she signs a contract for a phone …..
Last week I went to the gas station to buy snacks for the kitchen ladies and my 2 coworkers * she’s one of then. I paid attention to everything they all eat and bought them.
They were happy and surprised… but little do they know… I do this for everyone.
Today my coworker * the older lady* went out and bought gifts for one of the ladies… * like I did” trying to compete with me… I laughed
She’s a bragger… brags about everything.. I feel bad for her.
I dont/wont….. it kills her when she finds out things about me that I NEVER MENTIONED OR BRAGGED ABOUT… HAHAHAHA
She feels UPSTAGED
Being in her presence is so uncomfortable…. I respect her… but its something about me she can’t STAND
We had a big blow up last week, and I told her… LISTEN YOU OWN SEVERAL BUSINESS, AND YOU ALWAYS TALK ABOUT WHO YOU FIRED, WHAT YOU HAVE, WHAT YOU OWN.. I SAID BUT MEEEEEEEE. I DON’T WORK FOR YOU, I AM NOT ONE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES, AND YOU WILL NOT TALK TO ME ANY KIND OF WAY…… Oh I thought she was going to KILL me with the high pitch of her voice of RAGE.
She’s so JEALOUS of me…..while she’s BLESSED with MONEY and PROPERTY… I’m BLESSED WITH PERSONALITY, LOVE, PEACE, KINDNESS, EMPATHY, COMPASSION, LEADERSHIP SKILLS, and many more.
I didn’t sign up for ADULTS…. I signed up for the TEENS

A sad weekend…..Cree’s Blog Entry

Its been a while since I’ve posted. I don’t even know where to start.Last Saturday I went to the funeral of Gary Berry and man who I’ve known since he was no older than 2 or 3. He was murdered.

Then after wards in another area of the church* mostly the people at the funeral was at the celebration as well* was a 75th Birthday Celebration of Ms. Harris, a woman who use to live directly next door to us when I was about 7. She was the Madea of my time. It was a sad day turned happy day.

Last night, this same woman lost her grandson to a senseless murder, so now again, we will meet up at a funeral. I remember when his mom Lynn was pregnant with him 30 something years ago. He was born weighing 14 pounds, the biggest baby I’ve ever heard of. He recently got married and has children with his wife. Everyday he was posting videos playing with his kids. I watched them all because it was so cute seeing a husband/man/father interacting with his children. Last week, I told him that I was calling him the “VIDEO MAN”. LOL Wow, how does this mother tell her children that their father is not coming home? * CJ in the above photo*

kenThis afternoon one of my best friends Gloria, lost her boyfriend* in this photo* to kidney failure. I am so sad. I knew he was sick, but not that sick. What a sad weekend. My male BFF Rodney lost his aunt on Friday, and a cousin through marriage buried her mom yesterday. Its like God is calling his people saying… “you come home”, “you come home”, “you come home”, “you come home”. There is nothing no one can do about it. I know we have to leave here, and this is why I preach daily…. tell your family you love them, spend time with them, if you get into it make up quickly. I even called my dad early this morning , * Thanks Sherry* because I see that he wasn’t going to call me first, and he was the one who hung up on me. I just don’t have time for back and forth anymore. I’m almost 50, I’m not spending my last “minutes” on earth arguing with folks, being mad, and not talking. I just can’t.

God will see us through.
